Opening of the incubator Racines Carrées

Initiated by Racines, with the support of the Drosos foundation, the incubator of cultural structures Racines Carrées officially opened its doors on 15 January 2018. Circus show, street theater play, music album, comic and illustration book publication, video installations, etc.: 20 projects in total have been preselected to take part in the first phase of the 3-month pretest.

Initiated by Racines, with the support of the Drosos foundation, the incubator of cultural structures Racines Carrées officially opened its doors on 15 January 2018. Circus show, street theater play, music album, comic and illustration book publication, video installations, etc.: 20 projects in total have been preselected to take part in the first phase of the 3-month pretest, which includes:
– a 5-day generic and common training program    
– individualized appointments for each project
– the evaluation of the projects by a jury of national and international experts
– the projects final selection

At the end of this initial phase, candidates selected by the jury will join the next incubation phase of 9 months, which includes:
– 5 sessions of 5-day training program each    
– individualized appointments for each project
– a 1-week internship
– the free access to a documentation center
– the organization of popular education activities by the candidates (selection based on application)
At the end of this incubation year, all the artistic creations will be presented during a closing festival / marketplace.
