Participation of Aadel Essaadani in the “Global mini-summit: arts, culture, and social justice”

Aadel Essaadani, Racines’ and Arterial Network’s chair, attended the “Global South mini-summit: arts, culture and social justice” organized by the African Arts Institute in Cape Town and Johanesburg (South Africa), from 29 September to 3 October 2014. The summit gathered representatives from India, Bangladesh, Trinidad and Tobago, Fiji, Singapore, Argentina, Egypt, UK, Chile, Lebanon, Tanzania, Morocco and Mali, who discussed how the global South is dealing with issues related to funding, policy, artists’ mobility, freedom of expression, etc.
