Racines a célébré pour la deuxième fois au Maroc la Journée de la Liberté de la Musique (Music Freedom Day), le 3 mars 2017 au Bistrot du Pietri à Rabat, par un débat et un concert. Le débat était sur le thème : »Femmes artistes et liberté d’expression et de création artistique » avec la participation de Naima Oulmakki (chargée des relations publiques du Théâtre Aquarium), Noor (danseuse) et Dounia Benslimane (directrice de Racines). La modération a été assurée par Sara Soujar, activiste pour le genre. Le débat était suivi d’un concert du groupe “Loon band au féminin”…

En mai 2016, le Bundestag a décidé, en réponse aux évènements de Cologne de 2015, de déclarer l’Algérie, le Maroc et la Tunisie des pays « d’origine sûre ». Cette question a réuni le 1er mars 2017 à Berlin des militant(e)s d’origine maghrébine, pour débattre autour des droits de l’homme dans leur pays respectif. Cette rencontre a été organisée par la fondation Heinrich Böll Afrique du Nord-Rabat, qui a invité M. Mehdi Azdem, directeur de l’association Racines, à participer au débat. Topophilia est la première exposition organisée dans le cadre du projet MEETINGS, qui se tiendra dans la ferme Nørager à Nees, au Danemark, pendant le MEETINGS Festival du 1-10 Septembre 2017. Le Fonds Roberto Cimetta et la Fondation Valletta 2018 qui gère le projet Valletta, capitale européenne de la Culture 2018, collaborent pour améliorer et augmenter la mobilité artistique dans la région euro-arabe et euro-méditerranéenne en particulier. Une série d’appels à candidatures se déroule depuis 2015 et ce jusqu’en 2018 destinés à des artistes et opérateurs culturels qui vivent et travaillent dans la région euro-méditerranéenne et qui sont porteurs de projets de coopération qui correspondent aux critères ci-dessous. Créée en 2006, l’association culturelle Théâtre Nomade est une compagnie de théâtre de rue basée à Casablanca et dirigée par Mohammed El Hassouni et Soumia El Boukhari. Elle a pour but de déplacer le théâtre auprès des gens qui n’y ont pas accès et de faire revivre les arts populaires et les traditions orales et gestuelles dans un théâtre de rue contemporain. L’association a fait l’acquisition d’un chapiteau dans lequel elle organise des résidences itinérantes sur plusieurs quartiers et villes au Maroc. Elle y mène des ateliers de théâtre, danse, cirque et marionnettes destinés aux jeunes. Depuis 2006, la compagnie a créé plusieurs spectacles et parades qui ont tourné dans des villes marocaines et à l’étranger…

احتفلت جذور للمرة الثانية بالمغرب بيوم حرية الإبداع الموسيقي بالمغرب، يوم الجمعة 3 مارس 2017 ب Le Bistrot du Pietri، الرباط، من خلال تنظيم ندوة و حفل موسيقي. نظمت الندوة حول موضوع: « فنانات وحرية التعبير والإبداع الفني » بمشاركة نعيمة أولمكي (المكلفة بالعلاقات العامة – مسرح أكواريوم)، نور(راقصة)، دنيا بنسليمان (جذور) و تسيير سارة سوجار (ناشطة بمجال النوع). تليت الندوة بحفل موسيقي من طرف « فرقة لون النسائية »في العديد من البلدان بما في ذلك المغرب، تعرف المرأة الفنانة تهميشا اجتماعيا، ثقافيا واقتصاديا. عموما، تواجه النساء الفنانات ظروف صعبة وغالبا ما يكن عرضة للتمييز الصناعي، والتشييء الجنسي و فرص عمل أقل من الفنانين الذكور. يعد يوم حرية الابداع الموسيقى مبادرة من فريميوز سنة  2006، و هو فعالية مشتركة و قوية من أجل دعم الموسيقيين المضطهدين أو المتابعين أو المسجونين فقط  لتكلمهم ضد السلطات وإصرارهم على الحق في التعبير من خلال موسيقاهم. في جميع أنحاء العالم، يتم انتهاك حقوق الموسيقيين و الملحنين في …

Racines launched its project MARSAD in Casablanca, on 17 and 18 March 2017. MARSAD aims to create a collective platform of research, implementation, monitoring and observation of cultural policies in the MENA region. The project will produce a joint publication written by the four partners and a website compiling data and documentation on the creative sector in Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt and Lebanon, as a first step. Racines celebrated for the second time Music Freedom Day in Morocco, on the 3rd of March 2017 at Le Bistrot du Pietri, Rabat, by organizing a debate followed by a concert.  The theme of the debate was: « Female artists and freedom of artistic expression and creation » with the participation of Naima Oulmakki (Public relations – Théâtre Aquarium), Noor (dancer), Dounia Benslimane (Racines), and the facilitation of Sara Soujar (gender activist). In several countries including Morocco, women performers can be socially, culturally and economically marginalized. On May 2016, the German parliament, in response to the events of Cologne in 2015, have pronounced that Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco are “safe countries”. This question gathered on March 1st, 2017 in Berlin militants from the Maghreb, to discuss about the human rights situation in their respective country. Lilith Performance Studio is now inviting visual artists to apply with a proposal for a new major performance work, which will be staged in Malmö, Sweden, during 2018-2020. Each year, selected artists are given the unique opportunity to realise and present a new, large-scale performance on site in the studio in Malmö or elsewhere in the city, in close collaboration with the studio. Lilith selects artists with a distinctively individual artistic mode of expression and integrity in terms of ideas and methods and artists who share an interest in exploring their own work in relation to the studio as a site of experimentation. It is important that artistic creation and the role of artists are considered alongside human rights and freedoms in society. To this end, the Arts Rights Justice Program seeks to convey and professionalize skills, ensure the exchange of knowledge, make the most of multiplier effects and build expertise on the subject.
