CUSP

CUSP Network Plus (henceforth N+)  is funded under the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) call “Preventing Conflict, Building Sustainable and Inclusive Peace”.CUSP understands conflict as dynamic, manifesting within forms of structural and systemic violence such as poverty, exclusion, as well as physical violence. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) driving CUSP are: SDG 16 “Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels”; SDG 5 “Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls”. It draws together partners from Low- and Middle-Income Countries (i.e. Ghana, Mexico, Morocco, Palestine and Zimbabwe) – and UK partners – all of whom work with children and young people in different artistic and cultural settings (e.g. dance, theatre, literature, crafts, music).
