As part of the project « Taqafa Mouwatina – emancipate through education » for citizens emancipation and freedom of speech through the promotion of civic and citizen education, Racines organized in partnership with the Mazagan Association, a meeting on civic education in Morocco, at théâtre de la cité portugaise the 27 october 2018.

As part of the project « Taqafa Mouwatina – emancipate through education » for citizens emancipation and freedom of speech through the promotion of civic and citizen education, Racines organised, in partnership with the Moroccan Forum for Developpement, Culture and Civilizations’ Dialogue, a second meeting on civic education in Morocco on Saturday 24th of November at the Maison de quartier Hay Salam in Agadir.

L’association Racines en partenariat avec la troupe du Théâtre de l’Opprimé Casablanca et The Minority Globe a lancé son projet Mix City. Il fait partie du programme “Drame, diversité et développement dans la région MENA, co-financé par l’Union Européenne dans le cadre du programme Medculture, le Fond Prince Claus pour la culture et le développement, la Fondation SwedishPostcode et la Fondation Heinrich Böll; et mis en œuvre par Minority Rights Group International, l’Institut du Forum Civic et l’Institut Andalus. Ce projet vise à offrir aux migrants subsahariens au Maroc un espace d’expression, à travers les techniques du théâtre de l’opprimé (Halqa Forum), afin de sensibiliser la société marocaine aux problèmes dont souffrent cette minorité et de briser les préjugés et les stéréotypes à son égard. “B7al b7al” est le résultat de deux résidences de création de 10 jours qui se sont tenues à l’espace MAOKA à Bir Jdid. NB : Ces photos ont été produit avec l’assistance de l’Union Européenne.
