KLF produces and supports artistic and cultural projects in the  MENA region. Specialized in culture and contemporary visual arts, KLF focuses on heritage preservation and cultural education as well. 

Missions & Objectives

▪    Producing knowledge and support research on visual culture in the MENA region and beyond
▪    Supporting artists, creatives and cultural projects
▪    Organizing cultural and artistic events with a view to promoting art and artists in the MENA region
▪    Heightening awareness of artistic culture and democratizing art
▪    Building a cultural and artistic momentum through the development of debates, dialogues and exchange platforms on visual arts across the region and beyond
▪    Initiating cultural education projects that contribute to providing quality education in public schools
▪    Preserving heritage 
▪    Promoting an art collection in order to enhance artistic practices, with the aim of opening contemporary art spaces to develop excellence in visual arts production in the region

The Projects Manager

To implement and manage a select number of KLF’s projects in Tunisia, we are looking for a Projects Manager starting immediately. Reporting to the CEO, working closely with the COO and in close collaboration with the team and the financial department, the Projects Manager will be in charge of the following tasks:

▪    Plan and manage the implementation of selected KLF projects
▪    Produce tailored concept notes, action plans and proposals for KLF projects
▪    Ensure detailed project planning and monitoring including:
•    Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan
•    Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan
•    Defining projects budgets
•    Ensuring coordination between all project execution partners
•    Providing status reports 
▪    Contribute to securing funding for KLF projects
▪    Source and manage project coordinators, interns and consultants
▪    Draft progress and evaluation reports to board and donors
▪    Build on relationships with existinglocal and international donors, partners and other stakeholders
▪    Network in order to further develop the local and regional network of partners and stakeholders
▪    Support and follow up on KLF grantees in MENA region

Your profile

▪    applicant should be a self starter with the ability to work both independently and with other people 
▪    A proven track record in project management, including financial management and reporting
▪    A passion for contributing to the ecosystem in Tunisia and/or the MENA region
▪    Demonstrable experience in managing projects that involve multiple local and international partners
▪    A willingness to participate in fundraising for projects in Tunisia and/or abroad
▪     Ability to work effectively with others in a team
▪     Proven ability to utilise talent and expertise of team members to achieve objectives
▪    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
▪    Fluency in English, Arabic and French
