Free Advocacy Training Opportunity for Activists Working on Minority Rights

Minority Rights Group International would like to invite you to apply to take part in an online training program on minority rights, freedom of religion, regional and international mechanisms for the protection of human rights, and advocacy strategies. The course is open to all applicants from the Middle East and North Africa region. Qualified women, members of religious minority groups, and nationals of Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, are particularly encouraged to apply. The course can be followed in Arabic or English. The deadline for applications is 30 December 2016. The course will run for three months, from January to April 2017. Selected participants are then eligible to take part in further training and networking activities, regionally, and at the UN level in Geneva.
