Racines Carrees : Jury Day

The Racines Carrées jury met on May 17 and 18 to mark the end of the pre-test period for the Class of 2023!

We were delighted to welcome among the members of the jury :

• Claudine DUSSOLLIER: cultural engineer, member of Transverscité, editorial consultant and director of books for Deuxième époque and l’Entretemps. 
• Ferdinand RICHARD: One of the founders of Marseille’s Friche Belle-de-Mai, ex-director of AMI, where he created France’s first cultural business incubator. Former board member of OPC. Former musician and artistic producer for over 20 years.
• Aadel ESSAADANI: Former president of the Fabrique Culturelle collective at Casablanca’s former abattoirs, technical scenographer and urban planner, Aadel has also worked as technical and communications director for various festivals in France. Committed to cultural, social and human development, he is currently director of Racines aisbl.

12 projects out of 23 have been selected for the incubation phase, which will include thematic group training, mentoring sessions, immersion courses and popular education workshops.

Racines Carrées wishes all its incubated cultural project leaders a wonderful and fruitful adventure.
