3rd edition of the “Etats Généraux de la culture au Maroc” : call for volunteers

As every two years, Racines’ association for culture and development needs to reinforce its staff and mobilize volunteers for the organisation of the 3rd edition of the “Etats Généraux de la culture au Maroc” that will take place in Tiznit (Morocco), from 5 to 10 November 2018, in partnership with the 8th edition of Amur’Art festival of urban cultures.
Are you young (18 to 35 years old), motivated, engaged and willing to help us with the logistics and welcoming, communication and community management, production, photo and video… ?

As every two years, Racines’ association for culture and development needs to reinforce its staff and mobilize volunteers for the organisation of the 3rd edition of the “Etats Généraux de la culture au Maroc” that will take place in Tiznit (Morocco), from 5 to 10 November 2018, in partnership with the 8th edition of Amur’Art festival of urban cultures.   

Are you young (18 to 35 years old), motivated, engaged and willing to help us with the logistics and welcoming, communication and community management, production, photo and video… ?

Are you skillful and do you have a team spirit and the capacity to work in an international environment?

Do you master Arabic, but also French, English or Amazigh (at least two of these three languages)?

Are you available from 1st to 11th November 2018 (included)?

Do you have any of the following backgrounds ?

• Student or graduate in cultural studies (mediation and cultural engineering, book publishing, cinema and audiovisual, theater studies.. etc.)

• Student or graduate from public or private schools of business, management or marketing

• Student or graduate from public or private schools in communication and journalism

• Student or graduate from public or private school in international relations, political sciences or intercultural project management.

Applicants can be Moroccans or with other nationalities, able to pay for their travel fees until Casablanca. For volunteers who are not based in Tiznit or the region, Racines would pay for the travel fees from Casablanca to Tiznit (return trip: 1st November – 11th November). The accommodation (except for people from Tiznit) and meals will be also paid by Racines during the period of the event.
