Participation of Racines to conferences and meetings, in Morocco and internationally

Dounia Benslimane, development and partnership director of Racines, attended the 19th annual seminar of Oracle, held in Maastricht (The Netherland), from 20 to 22 April 2017. The theme of the seminar was “Culture beyond the paragraphs” and the participants discussed different aspects of the cultural policies of the European Union, including the neighboring programmes, in the framework of the 25th anniversary of Maastricht treaty. 

The network has also elected its new board for 2017-2021 : Jindrich Krippner – president (Czech Republic), Robert Alagjozovski – treasurer (Macedonia), Marta Nowicka – secretary (Poland). Congratulations ! 

 

Racines has presented the results of its survey on Moroccans’ cultural practices, focusing on the cinema, at la Cinémathèque de Tanger on 25 April 2017, during the workshop organized by NAAS – Network of Arab Alternative Screens. The workshop gathered several members of the network from Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan and Palestine.
